Choosing the Lesser of Two Evils is still Choosing Evil…That’s why I support Chuck Baldwin

Why settle for the lesser of two Evils when you can vote for Chuck Baldwin?  Go to www.baldwin2008.com to learn more about a Presidential Candidate that is really for change.  It’s sad that restoring the United States Constitution is considered a radical idea.  Chuck Baldwin and Ron Paul were the only true liberty candidates in the 2008 Presidential election.  It’s been exciting to support anti-war, pro-life, pro-constitution,  fiscal conservatives.  Do you know how hard it is to find someone who is not a total hypocrite on the life issue?   Many Republicans who claim to be pro-life support preemptive war.  They claim to care about life and the unborn while condoning the murder of innocent women and children in Iraq.  They call for sanctions to be put on countries.  Sanctions that cause innocent children to starve to death.  Many Democrats oppose the war in Iraq and value the soldiers lives but support murdering millions of unborn babies here in the United States.  It’s total hypocrisy.

Most Republicans and many Democrats supported the Patriot Act and the Military Commissions act putting our Constitutional rights in jeopardy.  The two parties have so much in common now I can hardly tell the difference.  They both want to spend us into oblivion increasing our national debt.  They have no intention of aboloshing the income tax and federal reserve system.  One party wants more war.  One wants more welfare and higher taxes.  How about no more wars, phasing out entitlements, restoring our Constitutional rights, letting the American people keep more of their own money, and getting the Federal Goverment out of every aspect of our lives?  That sounds like a good plan to me.

Mc Idiot?

This is a hilarious little montage of John Mc Cain on the campaign trail.  Ordinarily I would assume that he is just tired from the vigorous campaing schedule.  After watching the second video I’m not so sure.  He constantly contradicts himself.  His lack of knowledge about history is clearly illustrated in the third clip where he tries to explain WWII to Ron Paul.  John McCain a conservative Republican who worked with Democrat Senator Russ Feigngold to pass the campaign finance reform act.  He voted against one of few decent things Bush has done during his Presidency his tax cuts.  He supported the amnesty bill last year even when the majority of the American people were against it. Is this really the kind of person we want for our Commander In Chief?

Obama Campaign Releases Rebuttal of Jerome Corsi’s New Book

Barrack Obama’s campaign has released a 40 page rebuttal of Jerome Corsi’s new book “Obama Nation”.  The link to the PDF file is here: http://obama.3cdn.net/a74586f9067028c40a_5km6vrqwa.pdf  Now I must admit that I have yet to buy Mr. Corsi’s new book but after reading this file I can’t wait to get it.  I now like Barrack Obama much less than I did before reading this so-called rebuttal.  You would think that his campaign would make sure to put something out that makes him look good and more  like the candidate of “Change” that he claims be. It is very telling that they chose to attack Jerome Corsi’s character in the same way that Corsi allegedly attacked Barrack Obama’s.  It seems quite hypocritical.

The first paragraph -   Of course, the lies in “The Obama Nation” almost pale in comparison to the bizarre, conspiratorial views that Jerome Corsi has advocated in his broader work. He believes that President Bush is trying to merge the United states with Mexico and Canada. He believes that there is a literally unending supply of oil beneath the ground. And in perhaps the gravest sign that his views can’t be trusted, he alleges a government cover-up of the 9/11 attacks and denies that airplanes were to blame for the towers’ collapse.

So I am gathering that he would not support a new investigation into the 9/11 attacks.  He won’t check into why building 7 fell into it’s own footprint even though it was never hit by a plane.

There will be no research into the Security and Prosperity agreement, the Trans Texas Corridor, or the Amero.

I also noticed in this document that wants to INCREASE military spending and a whole page full of unconstitutional votes regarding Israel and the Middle East.  This all sounds very neocon just like McBush.  This is not the kind of “change” I am looking for. There is nothing about his relationship to people like George Soros and Zbigniew Brzezinski.

Please do some research on 9/11 truth, the NAU, the council on foreign relations, the trilateral commission, and Obama’s Neocon foreign policy advisers before you send me any rude comments.

Getting fired for Supporting the Troops

A friend of mine was recently fired from her job for talking about politics in the break room.  One of her co-workers was offended by free speech and reported her to human resources.  She was fired approximately two weeks later.  How outrageous!  I am so disgusted.  It’s so sick that you can lose your job because some jerk doesn’t like what you say and decides to “report” you. Who the hell do these people think they are?  What is really sick is that she was talking about bringing our troops home from Iraq.  It’s quite possible that the tattle tale is one of the idiots who actually thinks our troops are there to “protect” our rights.  If you believe that then let us use our rights and don’t let them fight in vain!

When did discussing our political views become so taboo?  During the revolutionary times all everyone did was discuss politics and news.  They debated with each other in the streets and had lively discussions with their neighbors.  Now we have to be “politically” correct all the time.  We aren’t supposed to discuss anything serious without the risk of offending someone.  We can discuss football, NASCAR, fashion, or any other mindless topic. How dare anyone think for themselves or have an opinion.  The last time I checked the war in Iraq had about a 30 percent approval rating.

When did we become incapable of dealing with our own problems?  This was a situation where the person could have said “hey I don’t like what you are saying do you mind talking in a softer voice so I can’t hear you”.  Or they could have simply ignored it all together and minded their own business.  It is so sad to know that someone can cause another person to lose their job for speaking their mind on their own personal time.

The company did not have to handle the situation in this manner either.  They could have told the tattle tale employee that this is a free country and we have a 1st amendment that says we have free speech.  If you don’t like it too bad!

What can you expect from a society where people call CPS on their neighbors for leaving their kids in the car when they check their mail?  I wish people would to mind their own business and stop reporting people for over harmless incidents instead of acting like mindless idiots.  You are helping destroy our society and one day will regret your foolish actions.

If You want One World Government & One World Religion Vote for Barack Obama

I don’t even know what to say anymore.  How can people believe this is the change we need?

The media praising his call for a new world order.

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/07/25/obama.trip/index.html

“The walls between the countries with the most and those with the least cannot stand. The walls between races and tribes; natives and immigrants; Christian and Muslim and Jew cannot stand. These now are the walls we must tear down.” Barack Obama

In other words no more borders, one world government, and one world religion. He calls for total new world order while thousands of sheeple are cheering, how sick.  Wake up people before it’s too late!

Chuck Baldwin for President!!!

A year an a half ago I never imagined that I would be writing a blog with this title.  I was a die-hard Ron Paul supporter till the end.  I had the privilege of being in Houston last month when he announced he was suspending his campaign.  There is still a part of me that dreams of a revolt at the GOP convention and the delegates will nominate Ron Paul instead but I know that is very wistful thinking.

I was originally considering not only voting for Bob Barr but actually volunteering to work as a grassroots volunteer on his campaign.  I didn’t know much about him.  I just heard Ron Paul might endorse him. I later found out that he voted for the patriot act, the Iraq war, and worked in the CIA for 8 years.  Maybe this guy isn’t really a Libertarian.

So I decided to keep looking and remembered that during the primary season there was this Baptist preacher in Florida who was writing articles in support of Ron Paul.  Come to find out he is the Constitution Party’s nominee.  I went to www.baldwin08.com website and checked out his platform and was sold in about two minutes.  This is the closest to voting for Ron Paul as I’m going to get.  I also checked out the constitution party website www.constitutionparty.com and read the entire platform. It wasn’t but a week later that I found myself filling out a membership form and writing a check for twenty dollars to join the party.

The Baldwin platform is amazing. He’s excellent on the 2nd amendment, opposes the war in Iraq, pro-life, advocates a non-interventionist foreign policy, opposes NAFTA, GAT, WTO, etc.  It’s pretty much identical to the Ron Paul platform.

Of course it’s not realistic to think that a third party candidate will win.  They never get any media, have problems getting into the debates, and they have to spend an incredible amount of time and energy just to get on the ballot.  It’s a good thing we are promoting Democracy in Iraq.  Now they can have fair elections just like the United States.

So why even bother?   One of my favorite John Adams quotes is “The duty is ours, Results are God’s”.

We don’t know what’s going to happen until it happens.  There is something inside me that pushes me to keep trying!

Here’s a little youtube of his position on foreign aid & Isreal.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T7XZI08TfDE

Issues: What is Really Important?
July 22, 2008, 4:33 pm

On my way to work today I was thinking about issues.  What is important and what is not important.  How do you decide what to focus on?

After about thirty minutes it finally dawned on me.  The most important issues are the ones affect “everybody”.  Yes, I am kind of slow.  J

I was at a party this weekend and my sister had to tell everyone how “political’ I was before I got there.  As soon as I walked in the door someone was like “Hey, I know you were really into Ron Paul but who do like now? Are you voting for McCain or Obama?  I of course answered “neither one”.

Throughout the night there were several discussions about the presidential election and other various topics.  I noticed that every time we got into a debate that someone had to throw in a “side” issue.  Or an issue that is very controversial.

It never ceases to amaze me how many people are willing to flush our whole country down the toilet over things like favoring illegal immigration, gay marriage, animal rights, etc.  People will risk having another great depression or perpetual war in order to vote for a “Black” man or a“War Hero”. ( The War hero status is also questioned my many Vietnam Veterans http://www.vietnamveteransagainstjohnmccain.com/ .) It really makes me sick.

I believe that the most important issues are foreign policy, monetary policy, and protecting our Constitutional rights.  Yes that’s right Freedom, Peace, & Prosperity!  Our soldiers and other innocent people are dying over-seas.  Our dollar is being devalued causing oil prices to sky rocket and rapid inflation.  The bill of rights has been shredded.  The internet is on the verge of being regulated, and now the so called “Fairness” doctrine has re-emerged.  What is it going to take for us all to come together and focus on these crucial non-partisan issues?
