It’s sad that restoring the United States Constitution is considered a radical idea. Chuck Baldwin and Ron Paul were the only true liberty candidates in the 2008 Presidential election. It’s been exciting to support anti-war, pro-life, pro-constitution, fiscal conservatives. Do you know how hard it is to find someone who is not a total hypocrite on the life issue? Many Republicans who claim to be pro-life support preemptive war. They claim to care about life and the unborn while condoning the murder of innocent women and children in Iraq. They call for sanctions to be put on countries. Sanctions that cause innocent children to starve to death. Many Democrats oppose the war in Iraq and value the soldiers lives but support murdering millions of unborn babies here in the United States. It’s total hypocrisy.
Most Republicans and many Democrats supported the Patriot Act and the Military Commissions act putting our Constitutional rights in jeopardy. The two parties have so much in common now I can hardly tell the difference. They both want to spend us into oblivion increasing our national debt. They have no intention of aboloshing the income tax and federal reserve system. One party wants more war. One wants more welfare and higher taxes. How about no more wars, phasing out entitlements, restoring our Constitutional rights, letting the American people keep more of their own money, and getting the Federal Goverment out of every aspect of our lives? That sounds like a good plan to me.

A friend of mine was recently fired from her job for talking about politics in the break room. One of her co-workers was offended by free speech and reported her to human resources. She was fired approximately two weeks later. How outrageous! I am so disgusted. It’s so sick that you can lose your job because some jerk doesn’t like what you say and decides to “report” you. Who the hell do these people think they are? What is really sick is that she was talking about bringing our troops home from Iraq. It’s quite possible that the tattle tale is one of the idiots who actually thinks our troops are there to “protect” our rights. If you believe that then let us use our rights and don’t let them fight in vain!
When did discussing our political views become so taboo? During the revolutionary times all everyone did was discuss politics and news. They debated with each other in the streets and had lively discussions with their neighbors. Now we have to be “politically” correct all the time. We aren’t supposed to discuss anything serious without the risk of offending someone. We can discuss football, NASCAR, fashion, or any other mindless topic. How dare anyone think for themselves or have an opinion. The last time I checked the war in Iraq had about a 30 percent approval rating.
When did we become incapable of dealing with our own problems? This was a situation where the person could have said “hey I don’t like what you are saying do you mind talking in a softer voice so I can’t hear you”. Or they could have simply ignored it all together and minded their own business. It is so sad to know that someone can cause another person to lose their job for speaking their mind on their own personal time.
The company did not have to handle the situation in this manner either. They could have told the tattle tale employee that this is a free country and we have a 1st amendment that says we have free speech. If you don’t like it too bad!
What can you expect from a society where people call CPS on their neighbors for leaving their kids in the car when they check their mail? I wish people would to mind their own business and stop reporting people for over harmless incidents instead of acting like mindless idiots. You are helping destroy our society and one day will regret your foolish actions.
